Worth Every Penny!

I bought a Cabelas XPG three years ago and it has worked flawlessly. The intensity of this light is better than the description. The slim handle works well when using it with a pistol or rifle. It is without a doubt the best flashlight I have ever owned.

Great Light

I purchased this light app. 1 year ago and have used it extensively hunting and fishing. This is by far the best light I have ever used and the beam is unbelievable. Cabelas sold a single bulb light exactly like this one and was pure junk, but since they updated to the three bulb light it is completely different. One great light. I have turned this light on and it burned for 2 hours and 20 minutes straight. Just this week I ordered another one because my last one burned up in a fire. I don't see why anyone could complain about this light.

poor battery pack

Received unit by UPS, flashlight was dead on arrival. I charged it all day, but still dead. Removed battery pack and measured accross battery, no voltages. I put the ac charger plug into the battery assembly, it lit the green led on the charger indicating voltage. I pulled the ac charger plug out 1/8 inch and measured 7.88 vdc from outside of plug to top of battery assembly. Appears that there is a bad connection inside the heat shrinked battery assembly. Maybe be a production problem.

Poor quality, does not last.

I bought this and used it on 3 Boy Scout trips. Then it stopped working dead and hasn't worked since. Will not take a charge and will not produce any light. Not good for anything other than an expensive paper weight.
