Muzzy MX-3 Broadheads

  • Wide 1-1/4" cutting diameter
  • Strong .025"-thick, stainless steel blades
  • Bone-splitting Trocar tip
  • High-grade aircraft aluminum ferrule
  • Interlocking blades-for extra strength
What sets the MX-3 three-blade apart from the rest of the broadheads in the Muzzy line? For starters, it sports a shorter profile, 1-1/4" cutting diameter and .025"-thick, stainless steel blades, making the cutting diameter 1/16" wider and the blades .005" thicker. This updated design allows the MX-3 to fly truer and faster and deliver more killing power at the point of impact. Like its predecessors, this take on Muzzy’s classic, proven construction includes a bone-splitting Trocar tip, a high-grade aircraft-aluminum ferrule and interlocking blades that form a stout column of steel within the ferrule. Per 3.

    Great Purchase
    Date:
First time I ever used this broadhead and got myself a decent 6-pointer. I was in some thick brush but that didnt matter, it left a blood trail a blind man could follow. Buck went about 40 yards before dropping. Definitely going to hunt with these again next season

    Razor sharp
    Date:
I really like Muzzy. These blades are razor sharp and very easy to replace, I think they are sharper than G5 heads. The point is strong like a chisel and will punch thru heavy bones.
They fly straight and work well. With a cutting diameter of 1 1/4 they do a lot of damage.

    Finally found one!
    Date:
Using 7.3gpi arrows and not having luck with a fixed broadhead untill now. I really didn't feel comfortable shooting an animal unless my shots were predictable, and spent some money on several brands and configurations. Even the 100gr mzzy wasn't doing it for me, then i got these and they fly great from my setup. They are flying like my field pionts all the way out to 50yds. On top of that they came with a set of practice blades. I can finally settle down and concentrate on hunting! Will be buying extra for backups.

Flys true with a huge cutting diameter.
    Date:
I have had these broadheads on the end of my arrows since they came out but this year I was able to finally put them to use. First let me say that if your bow and arrows are properly fit then these will fly JUST LIKE A FIELD POINT. I tested them all the way out to 60 yards and sometimes in a good crosswind. I used to shoot the old style 100 grain 3 blade but I would usually have to change out the blades once I shot an animal. The buck I shot last week was a different story. I blew through him so fast a 20 yards I thought I missed...even with a lighted nock. The buck jumped to about ten yards and stood still. I then new I hit him when I saw the blood pouring down and seconds later he hit the ground. I picked up my arrow, cleaned it off in the creek, resharpened the same blades and now it is back in my quiver. Sharp, rugged and flys straight!
