A no-nonsense hunting knife with a tried-and-true design for serious outdoorsmen who appreciate old-fashioned quality. Its classic stag handle provides a firm grip for the all-purpose drop-point blade. Mirror-finished, high-carbon 9Cr18 stainless steel gives a long-lasting edge and increased tensile strength, and its hardened for wear- and abrasion-resistance in demanding field conditions. The pinned stainless steel bolster acts like a crossbar-less hilt on the 3" blade for streamlined performance that won't snag on belts or webbing. The hand-finished stag handles are fastened with mosaic pins for a detailed look that bespeaks its value as a tool and heirloom. Created by knifemaker Russ Kommer, a longtime hunting and fishing guide. Tooled leather sheath included.

Amazing how we have the problems.The Knife is outstanding ,the sheath stitching came out around the belt loop.Columbia replaced the sheath without question and the replacement now has done the same thing with typical use.I pulled the threads out and epoxied it back on this time.The test of time will tell.Really love the knife and the sheath is great looking too.

This knife has a wonderful blade and stag. The sheath is a diferent story. The stitching came apart the first time I used it. I found a diferent sheath and it is a keeper.

The picture does not do it justice. It is simply the best knife I own, surpassing even custom knives. The hand finished stag, full length tapered tang, premium steel, mosaic pins, liner, the balance and size, combine to make a truly fine hunting knife; and did I mention the sheath...tooled leather with quality and style. This knife performs well in the field and will give you pride of ownership. Buy it!!!!!!
