Buck® Knives Bucklite Max Fixed-Blade Hunting Knife
The Bucklite Max is an incredible knife at a price too good to pass up. It has full-tang construction and a blaze orange Alcryn® MPR rubber handle for superior performance in demanding end-use environments. Uou will love the edge the 420HC blade keeps. Available with standard drop-point blade for all-purpose versatility. Made in USA. Available: Model 673ORSC Blade length: 3-1/4". Overall length: 7-3/8". Weight: 2.8 oz.
I currently own 8 Buck (made in USA) knives, 4 Gerber (made in USA), and 2 Case (made in USA) knives. While most of my knives are folders (lock-back), the Buck Bucklite Max (large model) represents the best buy on the new knife market (fixed or folding). NOTHING else comes close! It comes VERY sharp out of the box, holds an edge GREAT, comes with a sheath. For a fixed-blade knife, it is clearly the best value on the market. BUY YOURSELF ONE OR THREE. They are GREAT!
Bought the Bucklite Max. The blade is sharp as you would expect with a Buck product. The handle has a nice grip and we have the blaze orange handle for easy view in the back pack. Look forward to cleaning a deer in next season.
Fixed blade and nice to hold knife. Cordura sheet is fitted with cut resistant plastic. Problem: if not worn on belt the knife rattles...any unneccessary sound drives me crazy while hunting. While I was wearing it on the belt the rattle disappeared, I guess there was a little angle on the handle of the knife that put solid pressure on the liner. From what I was reading about this steel (420HC); Buck Knifes are very good making knifes with this steel. Knife is on the lower end of price, but knowing how often I loose my knifes (thanks to my family too) I know it will have good use before it disapeares.
