Accurate, deadly, durable
Date:
These broadheads are extremely accurate. From my bow they group very tight at 30 yards and still quite good at 50. They do NOT fly just like field points however. You will need to sight your bow in for them. They will most likely penetrate your target completely (if not push them through) remove the head from the arrow before removing the arrow or they will destroy your target. They make great spiral wounds for quick, clean kills. I even had a doe jump the shot and was hit in the abdomen and through the opposite hind leg. The broadhead destroyed her femoral artery and she only went 100 yards. I have not had any problems with durability even when I missed my intended target and my arrow clanked into the ground. They are a bit difficult to sharpen both because of the spiral shape and the bleeder b lades. I use a G-5 broadhead sharpener and it works well. This is the most accurate broadhead I have shot from my bow. No other fixed or mechanical is as accurate. As far as I am concerned, there is no better broadhead out there.

Bad wrap
Date:
I first used the original Crimson Talon years ago and loved the flight being the same as my practice point and the very visible blood trail it cause. The only problem I experienced was it would fall apart if hit bone. BUT when they came out with the XT the metal was improved and can with stand bone shots, the blood trails are enormous and the flight excellant.

Long Time User
Date:
I have used these for six seasons, and for the most part, I've loved the penetration, the flight, and how similar they fly to my field tips. I have tried Grim Reapers, Rage, Meat Seekers, and Tekens during this time, but always came back to the Crimson Talons. The ONE and ONLY knock I've always had against them is the fact that ONE shot is all you get with them. I usually harvest between 3 and 6 whitetails each season with my bow, which over six seasons is somewhere around 23-25 deer. I have never been able to re-use one of these broadheads. Something ALWAYS gets dinged, bent, or totally destroyed on them. I have continued to buy new ones and use them for all of the reasons stated above, and will again this year because I still have four unused ones. However, I have decided that when I am in the market for new ones, I am switching to the Magnus Buzzcut. I find they have the same accuracy and flight, but a lifetime warranty has me sold at this point.

cant go wrong

These are the best broadheads i have ever used. I have gone on two elk hunts with these, and both times the elk went down within 15 yards or less. I did not have to track a wounded animal for miles. these broadheads are hard hitting and penetrate all bone and muscle with ease. Crimson Talon broadheads are the best!
