I was using the 20# leader on 12# test and got snagged, the leader plulled out of the crimp?? My knot was good! I am using these to pull plugs for walleyes in with those toothy Northerns!! Works great for that!

Really tough wire leaders
Date:
Nothing on my boat gets more abuse than the cable between the downrigger ball and release. After breaking countless scotty cables, I switched to these wire leaders. Presto, no more lost releases, even after some severe kinks and scrapes. Tough and cheap.

THE LEADERS LOOKS WELL BUILT AN THE PENS LOOKS STRONG. HAVEN'T CAUGHT ANY THING LARGE TO PUT THEM TO THE TEST TO SEE IF THE PEN/CLAMP WILL HOLD AN NOT OPEN, BUT I STILL HAVE MANY MORE DAYS TO TEST THEM ONCE THE FLOOD WATERS DROP BACK INTO THEIR BANKS. I'LL GO AFTER THE BIG BLUES,CHANNEL AN FLATHEAD CATFISH. THAT'S ALL I CAN TELL ABOUT THESE FOR NOW.
