Good Case
Date:
I received this case for x-mas this year after placing it on my wish list and i am quite satisfied with it. i have been using cases for my fly rods for years and i like being able to throw them in the back of the truck without worrying about the rods being damaged while going from point A to point B. i have been looking for a good case for my spinning outfits for some time now and this fits the bill.
The case does fit up to a 7' rod as advertised and seems to be constructed up to cabelas standard. My only complaint is the size of the compartment as it makes the case quite bulky. For my needs i do not need a large compartment to hold tackle in but i could see the use for it for someone who does not wish to carry a tackle bag or box.
One thing that could make this case better is if a 2nd spinning outfit could be placed in the same case.

Escape Rod Case
Date:
The Escape Rod case seems to work fine. It certainly protects your equipment although I did encounter resistance in slipping the rod and reel into the case. There is some room in the case for accessories.

Xcape Rod Case
Date:
This case is a good value, however, I wish the manufacturer would have put in just a wee bit larger pvc tube so that two rods would fit. The top already will fit two reels.
