Cabela's Advanced Anglers™ Pro Rod Bags

Keep eight rod and reel combos up to 7-ft. long (casting or spinning) protected and ready to go with Cabela’s Pro Rod Bag. Each side holds four rods and reels(on 8-rod model), and a padded divider prevents damage. Rod butts fit into staggered security pockets, while the tops are held securely in place by a hook-and-loop closure strap. The shell is rugged, snag-resistant nylon and the interior is smooth fabric over foam padding. A full-length zipper allows quick, complete access. Carry straps are 1" wide and the tip end has a strap and hang tab for convenient storage. Imported.

This won't hold rod and reels that are 7 feet in length- if you want to store rods and reels in this you better have some 6 feet or less- should have been stated that way- might work better for just baitcasters- spincasters don't fit well at all- sending it back

I used this bag on a recent trip to canada. I had a mix of 7' spinning rods/reels and 7' muskie rods with bait cast reels. It did take a little planning to get the spinning reels in with the bait casting (fold down the handles) but once I had it figured out, no more problems. Bag fit well on the fly in plane we used and kept rods/reels safe as well as much easier to handle getting on and off the plane. Some others had loose rods and reels with the result of everything getting tangled up.

Other than a double zipper, I would not change anything on this bag.
