not happy at all

This product was nice to look at but that is all the top of rod holder keeps coming loose and your poles end up on the ground and is not very strong

For the price i like it a lot. Assembles in less than 5 minutes and does the job holding the family fishing poles (all 19) with reels just invert them back and forth keeps them out of the shop and cold weather.

.........even after reading reviews from others about some of the problems and fixes for this rod holder, I exclaimed "Caveat Emptor!" and bought it in pecan finish. It arrived yesterday, and my concerns were unwarranted - the fit and finish were perfect, no problems at all with loose hardware, and the rod clips hold all eight of my rigs firm and snug. It looks fantastic, and is as sturdy as advertised. One minor nit to pick, tho not enough to gig it in my rating: the wells for the rod handles should be just a wee bit deeper, IMO, but it's still very functional.

It is an OK rod holder but I am not 100% satisfied. I currently have it in a closet with my rods/reels but if I had it to do over would have gotten one that spins. I was not happy with the plastic clips that hold my rods in place. I find that they do not hold avaerage size rods well and I have several that keep falling out! The top screw of the rack got stripped and would not tighten properly and I had to use wood glue to secure it. Also, it does hold 24 rods WITHOUT reels. With reels you can store 12 if you are lucky but with some of my spinning reels that take up allot of space you may fit 10.
