Tite-Lok® Black Widow Ultra Spider-Rigging Rod Holder System

This heavy-duty Spider rigging system allows you to spread your rigs for trolling or pulling. The 2" tube securely mounts to the 6" track and can be easily removed. Includes mounting track, riser and four rod holders. Includes 1/2" post and spider rig.

Have used in many situations with a friend of mine who has put catfish as big as 50+ pounds in the boat - no problems. Individual rod holder can be adjusted easily and is great for tight linning crappie.
Only changes I would make in design - T bar would be about 6" wider to allow a little more space between rods, and I'd have used heavier screws to hold bar in floor mount. Works great as is, but those improvements would make it much better with little manufacturing changes.

Titelok rod holders are not any better than others yet cost twice as much. Area between the reels is too close, shaft of holder does not lock down positively allowing it to turn at just the wrong time.
Cabela's has lots of better products than this one.

I purchased these because a friend of mine uses them successfully. Unfortunately I encountered a major problem on the first use.....the threads in the aluminum base stripped out when I tightened down the rod holders. At that point I was hesitant to tighten them down and the rod holders would then move as I was pushing jigs. I packed them up and sent them back to Cabelas this morning. I do greatly appreciate Cabelas' customer service.

This rod holder system is easy to adjust and use. ITs solid and holds the poles well. I use it for crappie and catfish. And works for both. It well built and solid Upright tube is big and does not allow the unit to move like some of the others.
Base is easy to adjust and remove and replace the holders.
I did replace the small adjustment knobs on mine. With bigger ones and that made adjusting the holders easy and allows me to tighten them more. if not for that it would have gotten 5 stars.
All in all its a solid well built unit
