Driftmaster™ Rod Holder Bases

Solid machined aluminum bases are interchangeable with Driftmaster™ rod holders. A threaded center hole offers maximum holding power without drilling a hole in your boat for the stem. 3/8" diameter threaded stems.
Available:
  • The Rail Clamp base fits up to a 7/8" round rail.
  • The Flat Rail base fits any size square rail.
  • The Stainless Steel Flushmount Base has a 2-1/2" minimum flat surface.
  • The Side Mount base has a 90° L-base that is great for jon boats.
  • The Star Base fits any 2-1/4" flat surface. Attach with self-tapping, sheet metal screws in fiberglass or wood; in aluminum, use bolts. Right handed.
  • The V-Round Rail Base bolts through any size round rail.

    Star Base Holders

    I used a pair of the star based holders on a mature bass boat for 10 years. The holders are in great shape but the screws worked loose in the plywood decking. I have a brand new bass boat and bought a Driftmaster crow foot system (special ordered through Cabelas - of course) for the bow. I mounted the old star base units onto a double thickness of 3/4" plywood for the stern. The T-bar units for the star bases are extremely tough.
