Cabela's Rod Holders with High Lift Extension

This extension lifts your rod holder off the deck to make your rod and reel easier to reach. It helps reduce the number of missed strikes by getting you on the rod quicker. The set includes a Quick Draw or 360 HT rod holder, a 6-3/4" extension and a Side/Deck mounting base. Black only. Per each.

I've been looking at rod holders for my ocean kayak and these holders with the lift extension just seemed like a good idea. I was very impressed with the quality of the setup when it arrived-these things are made to withstand the elements.The extensions are a personal preference but I have no complaints about these rod holders, especially at this price. I bought two.

I use these while using bottom bouncers and the extensions are real nice putting the rod at a good level so that I do not have to bend over when I get a fish on.
