Cabela's Flush-Mount 360HT Rod Holder Combo

We combined our top-selling 360HT Rod Holder with a Flush-Mount Adapter for a package that's ideal for serious off-shore anglers. Use the adjustable rod holder in any existing flush mount rod holder and benefit from being able to position your rod for the best angle, without drilling new mounting holes. It's a must for using a rod holder while drift or bottom fishing. The combo comes complete with white 360HT Rod Holder and adapter.

Great Rod Holder

These rod holders worked very well in my flush mounts and gave me a lot more versatility than I had before. I also experienced the loose fit, but if you have the ability to get at the base of your flush mount under the gunwale, try tapping a set screw (I used a 5/16") at the bottom. Loose fit problem permanently solved!

Solid but not Snug

On the plus side: 1) the quality of both is high, 2) device provides setting rods at multiple angles where your current flush mount does not, 3) easy, instant installation.

On negative side: 1) As others say, they do slip out easily when you lift or pull on the rod holder instead of clearing the rod...requires one to hold the rod holder in place as you lift the rod...not an easy task for beginners on board. 2) The holder's adjustment notches are not fine enough to properly set the rod. Horizontally especially. 3) Horizontal adjustments are very stiff and tight.

This is exactly what I was looking for. The boat I use have built in fish holders that have the rods going back at the same angle which sometimes cause a problem when trolling. By using the fish holder on the forward mount the lines are separated more...reducing line tangles.
