I purchased this product last spring and used it all summer. It secures the rod as describes. It swivals as described. And the clamping system is sturdy and reliable. I have had it on and off the boat numerous times. Having said that, due to the type of boat and rail that I have, I had to drill two holes and add a small block of wood to the C-clamp. It's has work fine ever since. I like the product and would purchase another. Therfore I would recommend this product to others.

Bought two of these for my pontoon rail. One clamp broke while I was attaching it...The other broke while I was running on the lake. Not at all what I expected.
