Cabela's 360HT Rod Holder with Rail Mount

Rig up your boat for trolling, drift fishing and still fishing with the addition of our 360 HT Rod Holder and new Rail Mount. The mounts secure to any 1-1/4" square or 7/8" round railing and permits the use of any Cabela's rod holder. The included 360 HT rod holder keeps both spinning and casting rods locked in place with a rotating retaining ring. Holder rotates 360° and adjusts vertically for precise placement of your lure or live-bait offering. Standard 360HT rod holder has a rear saddle that accepts all types of rod and reel combinations. A large, smooth swivel-locking ring prevents rod loss, and the 110° vertical swivel movement allows easy rod positioning for trolling and can even secure the rod and reel vertically when it's time to relocate.

Great buy!!!
Date:
I installed these rod holders on the square rails of my boat and I love them. It can fit my 5 ft trout rod or my 8 ft heavy action catfish rod with no issue. If installed properly they are extremely sturdy. It locks into place and stays put. Ive been using a similar setup on my kayak for 5 years now and I cannot find a flaw. The bad reviews obviously come from customers that installed them improperly. Take it from a guy with 25 years of fishing and boating experience. Great product!!!!

Quick draw Rail Mount
Date:
I'm just passing along info if you are planning to mount to an older Ranger boat. I have a 462VS with side rails either side of the seating area. It is tough not impossible to mount the quick draw rail mounts. You will need to cut off an Allen wrench to fit it into the holes for the set screws and you may need to use a clamp to align the back holes when attaching the unit to the rail. There is very little room behind the unit as it sits up close to the side of the boat. I used the open end of a box wrench to hold the nut while starting the screw into it with my drill. Once in place it holds great and the unit itself is another great Cablea product.

nothin' but fishin'

These rod holders work pretty good and are sturdy. I have used them for holding rods in dead stick and trolling situations and I have no complaints. They didn't get a full five stars because the anchor screws are hard to tighten down because they are on the bottom of the holder (could of been placed on the side to make it easier for low profile rails) and the holder seems bigger than others I've seen. All in all not a bad rod holder. Knowing what I know now I would purchase this product again.
