Cabela's Advanced Anglers™ Reel Covers

It's easy to leave your reels on your rods and protect them from damage and road dust. Simply slip the cover over the reel and rod handle and secure it shut with the Velcro® closure. Padded with 1/4" foam and covered with rugged 600-denier nylon.

I purchased several of these medium and small reel covers in the past and recently purchased several more based on their following positive features:
* Protect my spinning, fly and conventional reels in the field.
* Were used to transport my reels with their extra spools in them.
* Their sturdy construction have held up over the years and still look great.
* Excellent value for the price.
The only drawback I see is that they don't come in a large size for heavy spinning and casting reels.

Advanced Anglers Reel Covers

I've got eight reel covers and they really protect my reels, especially in my boat. My boat has a side storage compartment and all rods and reels go into it for the 70 mile trip to the launch. We have not had a bent bail or scratched reel once we started using the covers. A friend of mine uses the unpadded "dust covers" in his boat and he has had 2 bails broken on his best reels. I'm sold.
