Ande Premium Monofilament - Pink

This medium-soft mono has a diameter as small or smaller than comparable monos, but retains excellent tensile and knot strength. This smaller diameter enables your lures to track deeper, with less drag and cast much farther. And the low memory prevents those tangles and loops that always seem to show up when the action is hot.
Color: Pink.
Text Size: AAA

Excellent, Best there is bar none
Date:
I have been using Ande Pink ever since at the time an "old man" (was probably 60ish) turned me onto it back when I was about 13-14 years old at a tackle store which was 1972, so 40 years now.
I have tried many of the other lines through the years claiming to be the new hot line better than the rest etc.
None ever were, always came back to Ande Pink.
A friend and I used to go out on "party boats" in Southern California when we were in our teens and early twenty's, there would usually be between 30-45 people on board most all of us using live squid for bait usually for Yellowtail, Albacore, Mahi Mahi, and a few others.
8 times outa 10 he and I were catching more fish than anybody else on board, getting more bites and landing more fish once hooked.
Only difference between us and everyone else is we were the only ones using Pink Ande.
I have seen several comment on here stating "it doesn't seem to bother the fish" or something like that meaning they believe it is "high visibility" because it is Pink.
However that is exactly the opposite.
In WATER and in Lower Light conditions the first color to "Disappear" in the light spectrum is RED/Pink, thus Pink actually disappears in water long before any other color. It is the LOWEST visibly color you can get, at least as far as the fish can see.
Red/Pink completely disappears in 15 feet of even crystal clear water, even in just 5 feet of clear water Red/Pink is very noticeably less visible.
It has to do with how water absorbs light wave lengths. Blue is exactly the opposite and is visible down to 120 feet.
Because of its excellent abrasion resistance and knot strength we could usually go down to a lighter test than most anyone else also.
Thus our line was less visible to finicky fish and once hooked was less likely to break by crossed lines or boat hull.
Had the same thing happen when fishing with a good friend in Louisiana Bass fishing in the bayous in that "clear/black" water, both fishing the same worm I was getting twice the bites.
I also use it down to 2# test on trout and perch/crappie leaders/tippet on my fly rod, same results.
You simply can not beat Ande Pink, I have 40 years of empirical evidence that has proven that to me time and time again.

I use the line for crappies, perch and walleye and have found it easy to use and see when working with. Has minimal memory and holds up to use.
