Well, on the upside they do not mess up the lure action as much as heavier 4x hooks, and they are very sharp.
On the downside the gap is a little narrow, causing them not to hook up as often as would be appreciated.
Against Blue Peacock Bass they are infinitely better than the standard hooks on lures, but be warned, from bitter personal experience, even a 2.5kg peacock bass can open one of these hooks. I
I use these hooks fishing for spring chinook salmon. I use them on spinners and bait. I have not had any hook problems with these hooks. They work great on 30 pounders, but the real reason I use these is for the 50lb+. Why chance the fish of a lifetime?????
