needs a little help

I see everyone is having a problem with the size of the top rod clips there probably is only about one size rod that works right in them big rods will fall to the floor and little one will also fall to the floor so I spread the clips apart for the big ones and filled the rack with spinning casting line counter and fly rods then I put a bungie around underneath where the rod clips are not to tight and all the rods stay put you should not have to do this but it does work and to get the rod rack full you have to stagger the different types of reels and rods around the rack so they all fit My kids got me this for christmas a couple of years ago so I am not gonna say to much about it bad

Package had instructions for a wall mount rod rack. It wasn't too difficult to put together, but instructions should be for the actual unit. Quality is OK, but not worth the retail price. It may fit 24 kids size or ice fishing rods, but will only fit a few deep sea rods if they will fit at all. the upper clip is too small. I have several deep sea rods that are still sitting in the corner. Now I will need to purchase a 2 pc wall unit or something more suitable for regular size fishing rods.

The rod rack is a well made product and a handsome piece of furniture.
My only complaint is it will not hold the larger diameter offshore rods. The upper clip is too small to hold the larger rods.
I need to check with Cabelas to see if they sell larger upper clips.
