VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE QUALITY OF THE MATERIALS USED AND THE QUALITY OF THE WORKMANSHIP I HAVE A SIMILAR FIRE PIT HAS LASTED FOR 10 YEARS UP IN THE NORTH COUNTRY OF N.Y. I DOUBT IF THIS ONE WILL LAST 2 YEARS......SORRY CABELAS NEVER FELT THIS WAY ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE THAT I'VE GOTTEN FROM YOUR STOR'S....

The pit works well. The outer ring doesn't fit together precisely. The instruction manual suggests using 5 pounds of sand in the bottom, 10 is probably better.

The Ring around the top doesn't fit

The fire pit itself is good but there is suppose to be a ring around the top but it doesn't fit, it won't make a complete circle. We returned it and got another one but that one is the same way. So we just kept the pit and didn't put the ring on it.
