Overall, the I'm fairly pleased with the pit due to the size and the ease of moving it around. I was not impressed with the mesh lid, which had a hinge that snapped the first time I used it.

When you can't get out and camp as often as you would like. Building a fire in the fire pit in the back yard and making smores is next best.

Awesome. We put it together when it got here and we used it the very first night. We love camping and I really enjoy the campfire at nights. It is like bringing the mountains down to the flatlands. Just love the smell of wood burning. Makes us homesick.

Wife admired it in the catalog and said it was too expensive but wanted me to build one. A sale price, and bonus points saved me hours of work. She just opened it for Christmas and loves it. With 12 inches of snow on the ground and a bad storm blowing in more, it will look great under our new 30x30 patio and hot tub cover.
