Eventually even the toughest blades get worn out. With the Rapala Guide Fillet Knife that fact isn't a problem. Simply take the old blade and exchange it with a replacement blade and you're back on your way to filleting fish with ease. Blades are made using hand ground stainless steel.

Only complaint i have is they only last one season. The way they cut from new to dull was consistant till the very end. Pan fish only make the blade last longer but coho rib bones are tough.
I've got countless numbers of extra electric knifes without blades. Most brands of electric knives,blades cost almost as much as the knife does. So you end up buying another electric knife. hamilton beach/Black & Decker/GE/Mr Twister/etc.I've got 4-5 electric knives and unable to locate blades for.
Rapala blades are sharp and easily obtained. I ordered these because I lost my original set, LOL! Even have 2 different sizes available.
