Clean your catch miles away from the nearest electrical outlet. And have extra rechargeable accessories onhand so you don't run out of juice at a critical moment. Pick up a DC charger too and you'll never be unable to finish cleaning a fish.

I just purchased my third set of rechargeable batteries for my Rapala Rechargeable Fillet Knife. I fish during all four seasons and therefore use this knife extensively. A set of two batteries lasts me approximately three years and I have been willing to bear this expense for the convenience of using this knife. The knife has never failed me and it is sure easier to cut through rib bones, especially if you have a little arthritis in your hands or wrists. It is nice not to have to fight cords and to be able to clean fish when no power is available,
I like the Knife but the batteries don't hold a charge at rest for very long. If the battery is charged the day before it will last for 45 minutes of continuous perch cleaning but if has sat after being charged more than a day prior it will only last 10 minutes. I purchased a replacement battery and it had had copper contacts instead of the stainless steel looking ones and this one seems to hold the charge better. It is annoying to make sure batteries are charged close to use time instead of being able to recharge after you are done, expecting the charge to remain good. Please fix the battery problem because it's a hassle to have to use a cord.
I bought this product to recharge my fillet knife batteries while in the boat. It takes three times longer to charge a battery compaired to the standard AC converter. I got the fillet knife as a gift and would give that a thumbs down also as far as battery life.
