My wife bought me a pair for Christmas in 2010, and I used them extensively throughout the 2011 fishing season. With these, I can catch bass all day, grab them by the lip, hold their mouths open to remove hooks, and not lose all the skin off my left thumb. The fabric has a few holes because of hooks that have gotten caught, but that is better than catching hooks in the skin of my hands. The rubberized palms and fingers are durable and get a good grip. They don't get too hot on sunny days, either, esp. if you get them wet. I recommend them.
