Rapala Electric Fillet Knife

Operating on either 12-volt DC or 110-volt AC power, the Rapala Guide Fillet Knife works wherever you may be - the boat, campsite or at home. An ultra-quiet, long-lasting motor housed in a comfortable, fatigue-reducing, relaxed-grip molded body with an Advanced Air Flow design to reduce heat build-up make this knife a joy to use. Comes complete with an extra-long 18-ft. power cord, 6" and 7-1/2" hand-ground stainless steel blades, 12-volt power cord with battery post clips, 110-volt AC power cord and travel case.

Best filet knife ever

I am very pleased with my Rapala filet knife. It has enough power for even the largest fish, and I can clean a crappie in half the time of a manual filet knife.
I also bought the Rapala kevlar/stainless mesh glove for the opposite hand to avoid cuts while holding the fish.

good knife

I purchased this knife and love the handle and sharpness but it doesn't cut as fast as the one i had before. I like the different power sources but just wish the motor would go faster.

In my line of work I clean hundreds of fish a season. Large walleye and saugeye are really tough on electric knives. This knife holds up better than all the others i have tried. Blades will dull in a year with heavy use.Also be careful with the dc plug as it can break easily. Once it begins to get hot during use just order another one because its about to fail.
