Constructed of high-quality 440-C stainless steel, this knife comes with a nylon Cordura sheath with plastic liner. Full tang, rivited construction and Suregrip handle. Designed for medium fish, the Steelheader sports a full 6" cutting edge and is 10-3/4" overall. Made in USA.

Worth The Money

I have been through many Fillet knives. Most were cheaply made. They took forever to sharpen. The Alaskan is very well made. The blade holds an edge almost forever. This knife will last me the rest of my life. It is designed well to do the job and holds easily. It is also easy to clean. You will not be sorry if you purchase this product. After this knife I will buy more of their blades.

Good knife for fillets or other use including boning. It has a thicker and stronger blade than most knives of this kind.

Good knife. The blade is just as good as any Knives of Alaska knife. I prefer the coho's handle and blade though. I have both and prefer the coho but the steelhead does well on the small fish.
