Superb Fillet Knife
Date:
I have used the knife extensively since I purchased it and I have never been disappointed. I dulled a section of the blade accidentally and I contacted KOA and they told me to send it back and they would refinish it.
I got the knife back in like new condition and they refunded my shipping cost.
FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Super knife
Date:
This knife keeps its edge! I have yet felt the need to sharpen it unlike a lot of knives out there that seem to need sharpeing after only a few fish.

Good But not Great
Date:
I was looking for an easy to sharpen (carbon steel) fillet knife that had a good blade shape, good length, and ease of use. The knife is easy to handle; rubber gripped handle is very ergonomic, the blade shape is nice for filleting, and the blade length is perfect for any north american freshwater fish, and a good number of salt water fish too. However, the blade material, which by technicalities is a carbon steel but a harder carbon steel. I took my 4 inch pocket stone into the Quetico for a trip and couldnt get the knife to hold much of an edge. Even when I got the knife brand new it wasnt taking the hair off my arm. Overall if youre a proficient knife sharpener it will work, otherwise dont count on this being the standard tackle box knife.
