I do not reccomand for the serious hunter
Date:
I bought 2 of thesefor training and hunting and thought they would be great and they would have if my Lab weighed 45 lbs. I have been able to use them on some puppy training, but I have tried to use these with a 70 lbs Lab and he just doesn't fit good at all and likes the other blind I bought next much better.

Great look poor desing
Date:
I used one last automn for 4 months. My lab was a 55 pounds six months old puppy. The blind collapse when the dog enter fast in it: the dog sat on it most often than entered in it. After only few uses, the half of the metal rods poked through the bottom. At the end of the waterfowl season, all of them poked through. Should need sort of a plastic tip to prevent that. It quite impossible to fix it due to the strenght of the rods and the lack of space to make sewing.
Now my lab is 85 pounds and I seems that I will have to spend more than one hundred bucks to buy a better blind. So I suggest you to forget the MuttHutt and go right now for someting else better built. It's disappointing to see so poor quality for a Final Appraoch product.
Looks good on the box but don't do the job at all. .

Don't Buy
Date:
This is the worst piece of work i have ever seen. The metal rod poked through the front of the blind and never would stand up straight. it was as if parts were missing. I spent over 25 dollars trying to build a frame to go inside of it to be able to use it. I would not recommend this to anyone.

It works great for us!
Date:
I tried other dog blinds but neither my lab (65 lbs) nor I was satisfied with them. I figured if FA put as much thought into this concept as they do in their layout blinds how could it not be a great dog blind. I was right. My lab took to it right away. He seems to like the interior den shape of the blind. He can sit up and still be concealed, or go to a down position, or curl up and sleep if there's a lull in the action. Portability, attached pouch w/stakes, well made, rugged, plenty of stuble straps. Because of its shape, it doesn't throw a boxy shadow like some other blinds. We hunt hard and I like knowing that my dog is not only well concealed but well sheltered in the nasty weather we hunt in.
