Bought these a few years ago. They are now loose and don't cut cleanly, the spring is bent preventing them from closing, and the pin that holds the lock fell out. Completely overpriced junk! A pair of $5 kitchen shears is doing a better job on the pheasants and chucker I clean.

BEAUTIFUL but doesn't close

I bought this beautiful 9" poultry shears as a Christmas gift for my husband. He was impressed! However, the first full season he went pheasant hunting, the thing locked on him and the latch no longer closes the shears. In the end, it was just a waste of good money.

I purchased these to put in my field bag when out dove, pheasant, and upland bird hunting. Makes cleaning birds in the field fast and easy. Tough wing and leg bones are removed with ease!! I went back and bought another set to keep in the house!!
