Takes time
Date:
Took two years of planting before the deer were hitting them hard. First year grew great, but no real interest. The next deer from all over would walk through other plots to dig them out of the snow. Needs a good cold snap for the plants to get sweet and for deer to really hit them.

best purchase yet!
Date:
planted this in my 1/2 acre plot beside a little island of woods at the beginning of septmember and within a week had little sprouts starting to pop up. After about a month or 2 it was as thick as could be and the deer had it mowed down to almost anything. They love this stuff and they keep coming back.

Tall Tine Tubers
Date:
Turnips came up excellent but deer haven't really touched them. They have been mowing down the oats but not the Tall Tine Tubers. Guess it depends on what deer in your area like.

Turnip Patch
Date:
Did a fall planting in early Aug, Had great weather in PA. Very pleased with results. Lush and green. Deer were all over it. Turnips the size of grapefruits! Can't wait to hunt over my turnip patch in the late season after Christmas. Highly recommended.
