Whitetail Institute Slay™ Herbicide

Slay Herbicide is a highly concentrated herbicide that controls broadleaf weeds in food plots. Reduces weed and grass competition for soil nutrients, moisture and root space to maximize growth and extend production years. Apply by hand, four-wheeler and tractor sprayers. (See label for proper application.) Slay can be applied to legumes, i.e. clover and alfalfa. (See label for complete listings.)

    I wasn't pleased with the results I got in controlling weeds. Also it is very expensive when applied at the rates the manufacturer recommends. The instructions are not clear and I had to call the factory to get the proper mix ratio.

    What a waste of money!!!! Don't waste the time or evergy with this product. I might as well have used water, what a disapointment. If anyone has had luck with this product I'd like to hear about it.

    I followed the label directions to the T. I even contacted Whitetail institute before I used the profuct. I applied the product in the early Spring and again at the middle of June. The results were poor to say the least, I am looking for a different product. Anh suggestions would be great.

    This works well in your clover, it cuts down the broadleaf overgrowth, a bit overpriced and no others to compete,
