Whitetail Institute Imperial No-Plow Wildlife Seed Blend

Imperial No-Plow Wildlife Seed Blend is the easiest, no-fuss, no-bother way to give your deer herd essential protein during antler growing months. Seeds can be sown without plowing and with minimal or no soil preparation. It also benefits turkeys, doves, quail, ducks and other game animals. Composed of high-protein (up to 36%) attractive annuals that deer will use in all seasons. Included in the blend is a hardy winter forage grass, clovers and canola. Ideal pH for this plot is 6-7.0 and can be planted in the spring or fall. Grows best in soils that hold moisture or are well-drained in areas that receive 3-4 hours of sunlight per day. 16-20 lbs. per acre recommended.

    Growing deer!
    Date:
Yes, This seed works good in hard to get to spots. I did
clear the areas and raked it well. It grew pretty good in the fall 1st spot. Wasn't sure it was getting enough light at 2nd spot or the deer were just mowing it down. So waiting to see how it does in spring after trimming some trees. I would recommend this product to others.

    First use
    Date:
Used in open woods and on edges. Trail camera showed many deer using at night. As deer were running for cover on the opener, they still found time to stop and get a bite.. Easy to use and plant.

Did what it was supposed to do
    Date:
I planted the No-Plow in a deep woods food plot carved out of the trees. It got several hours of decent sun each day. I raked the ground, applied lime and fertilizer and just broadcast the No-Plow. It came in very well. The deer immediately began to show up and grazed it regularly. Good stuff.

    Good seed - Simple process
    Date:
I used this No-Plow to add some green shoots to my dark ATV trails last year. I did not even drag or rough up the soil and leaves. This seed came up and added green feed just as described. Worked well. Would use again.
