It came up but died, i planted the clover and it did exceptionally well in semi wet location, this however was a let down. The clover has 8 bucks everynight in it. Was hoping the alfalfa would work also. Maybe myy fault but seems hard to grow.
I have to give credit where credit is due, this product works. I planted a full acre of this and have had excellent results. The germination was fast and the growth was hardy. This made a gorgeous food plot. I can just stand and stare at how wonderful this stuff looks when done correctly.
I will tell you that you need to prepare your soil correctly and get rid of all existing weeds before planting. Also, fertilize according to your soil test and disc the fertilizer into the ground before you plant this stuff. Then broadcast with a hand spreader or use a Brillion grass seed planter.
If you do everything correctly then this product works well. I planted in the spring and we had a strong green up due to lots of rain, so the deer are nibbling at it, not really working it over hard or anything, but I bet when winter sets in the deer will hammer this plot.
