A good option
Date:
If you're going to be tying flies for many years, a good quality full cape is your best bet. However, if you only need some dry hackles for a few types of flies and a nice cape is too expensive, these are very good option.

Fly tying materials

The #18 hackle has been excellent and I've enjoyed using it.
The quill materials however, have been way too fragile, tending to crack or split during wrapping and forcing me to unwind, untie and start over ... am losing over 50%. So far I have not been happy with this material.
