I bought several packs of this saddle hackle for palmering woolly buggers and for making bass poppers. I'm happy as many of the feathers will work for medium and large buggers and most of the others will be the correct size for the poppers I'm making. Good value for the money.

Looks good and works

Used this and the big flashabou when tying up a rockcod teaser flies (big streamer flies on a 5/0 hook). What I make looks and works as good as Farallon Flies, and I'm not a great fly tier. You can custom the appearance, tie many, and still be far ahead of store bought prices. Good thing too; I often go through a few every trip.
