CDC Feathers Fly Material

The natural oils of this feather make it perfectly suited for dries, emergers and floating nymphs. The natural movement of the fiber, along with superior flotation properties, make it an excellent choice for difficult fish. Don't treat these with flotant, they do not require it. Per 100.

These CDC feathers are smaller than I expected and mixed with downy waste material. I will be able to make small stone flies, but I was a little disappointed.

These CDC feathers are rich in color and consistent within a package. I have found that other sources of this feather do no dye the feather to a consistant color so you may have a variety from light to dark color within the pack. Feathers are not brittle and can be wound around the hook without breaking.
