On the ground, 60 ft for the remote as long as there are no obsructions, including grass. Elevated 3 ft, almost 100 yds. Elevated 6 ft, almost 150 yds.
sounds fine, but I think maybe no coyotes came in because I had the caller on the ground 60 ft away and had to keep waving the remote over my head to get a connection to the caller. Very disapointed with the internal antenna design. I made a 6 ft tripod to make it useful, wonder if the song dogs will care?
Got this call with high hopes, well beyond my expectations, sounds great near and far, price at cabelas CAN NOT be beat, no distortion at 100% volume, When I opened the box and saw how small the caller was and how big the remote was i was skeptical but the big remote is easy to find in my bulky camo coat and the small call echo's 100's of yards across fields, first day i took her out within 9 mins i took a nice male yote at 81 yards with 000Buck shot, Wish this came out a few years ago!! great job Primos and Cabelas!~
Got this for X-mas from my wife and couldn't be happier. Small enough to fit in my Cabela's Yote seat and has some real nice features like the clip that holds the remote on the call. All call sounds are good to top quality, and loud too. I will never use full volume where I hunt, I usually set it at 75 to start out my set and turn it down around 60 after 10 min. or so. All the Randy Anderson sets are the best I've heard from any e-caller. Take my advise and don't listen to the nay sayers and get this call.
