FOXPRO TX-500 Fury Electronic Caller

  • 4GB internal memory stores up to 500 lifelike sounds
  • Pre-loaded with 100 sounds
  • Dual amplified speakers
  • USB port for downloading calls from your computer
  • Independent control of two channels
Introducing the next generation of electronic digital calling systems. The Fury's huge 4GB internal memory stores up to 500 lifelike sounds and comes pre-loaded with 100 sounds. The TX-500 gives you 10 sound presets with custom volume levels and two quick-access buttons for your most frequently used sounds. On top of that, you can design up to 10 complete sequences from start to finish by mapping out sounds, durations of the sounds being played and volume level for a completely hands-free predator calling experience. The extra-large LCD panel makes text easier to read and the new powerful navigational menus provide you with an easy-to-use operating interface. 24-bit audio delivers unprecedented sound quality. The Fury can play .mp3, uncompressed .wav, .fxp (FoxPro's proprietary file type), and .24b (FoxPro's 24-bit file type). Manipulate the volume level of the L/R channels on a stereo audio file using the FoxFade™ feature. For example, if you are playing a sound that has a rabbit on the left audio channel and a coyote on the right audio channel you can use FoxFade to gain independent control of volume of both sounds within the stereo audio file (i.e., decrease the volume of the rabbit – or silence it completely – while the volume of the coyote remains the same or vice versa.) In mono operation, Foxfade will act as a mixer moving sounds from the front speaker to rear speaker. Dual amplified speakers, two speaker jacks and USB port for downloading calls from your computer. Includes a feature-loaded TX-500 remote with a large, red, easy to use display, presets, custom sequences, volume manipulation and more. Runs on eight AA batteries (not included).

Foxpro Fury A+
Date:
I live in SE Michigan and decided this year to try coyote hunting. I tried a mouth call, but wanted something where I could get the sound away from me so after much research I decided to spend the money and purchased the Foxpro Fury. Without having a clue of how to properly use the call, I had the first coyote show within 30 seconds of turning on the rabbit distress call. Within ten minutes and after one bad shot had two more yotes coming in. Well worth the money! Can't wait to try it again.

A Geat Product with Top End Innovation
Date:
I have been using the Foxpro Fury for a couple months now and I couldn't be more pleased with the purchase. All the features can be a little intimidating at first but practice and learn these features before actually hunting and you will be glad you did. I really like the Foxcast feature where you can program entire hunt sequences. Autovolume has been helpful where you can activate it and the volume ramps up and down automatically. Also Foxfade is a unique feature allowing you to fade back and forth between two blended sounds. Would recommend the Fury without hesitation.

Watch out in cold weather
Date:
I have been useing this call for a few years now. For the most part it has worked great. The only real issue that i have is that the remote does not work very well below 15 degrees. I corrected the problem by keeping the remote under my coat on the way to the calling site. Also alittle spendy but I guess everything is anymore.

Fury does not turn on
Date:
This is my first caller and it seems real nice. but 2 out of 3 times I used it, I shut the hand-held remote off and then turned it back on. Just playing with the unit. I then tried to call. Nothing. The system locks up. Had to walk over to the base unit, turn it off, then back on. Problem is that this happened once at dusk and I had it in a field. I could not find the thing because I could not make sound on it. I'm gonna be careful not to turn off the hand-held remote if I intend to stay put and hunt. No need to do this really, but at the end of the hunt at night, be careful. Leave it on until you locate your base unit.
Other than that, this seems like a great call. 3 times out and nothing yet, but this really sounds great and is easy to use.
