Not for real "marine" applications!

I bought and installed this last fall for use in my center console saltwater boat. I had the boat out maybe twice last year and stored it under a cover over the winter. Excessive corrosion on the pins occurred and one pin snapped off first time out this year. Might be fine for a freshwater boat that spends winters in a heated garage...

What can I say, it make using a transom mount trolling motor much easier, no more loose wing nuts everytime I hookup the trolling motor.
