This item is a 2 piece design made of hard plastic,with the breaker inside with 2 terminal ends to attach the wires. i am using it for saltwater so i added a tiny amount of silicone to the housings and around where the wires exit the unit. i only wish i had found this sooner.

Works great. Much better than fuses that can heat up and melt fuse holders. Had these types of breakers on my Ranger boat before and immediately installed on my fish & ski.

The 50 amp breaker was easy to install and a very low profile so i could install it behind my battery box and still have access to it to reset if needed.
