Remote foot control

I was disappointed with the remote foot control for the Minn Kota Power Drive V2. I found the speed control buttons difficult to operate because of location and size. After years of heal toe steering on the old cable control motors It is extremely difficult to learn to steer the left and right buttons. I think the foot control will go under the deck for emergency use only. Too bad this is not more user friendly as it would make a great package with the motor.

Excellent Trolling Motor Control

I purchased this product with a level of apprehension that it may not perform as billed or not be user friendly. I needed not be, this is an excellent product that performs flawlessly. It is easily used by either foot. It also rides well and is durable even in very rough chop. You can use it anywhere in the boat and move it easily. It even works effortlessly when hand operated.
I have fished very hard with it in large man made reservoirs and rivers.
I have used them all and I keep going back to Minn Kota. In my experience, Minn Kota is the definition of excellence in trolling motors and trolling motor accessories.

This should be sold with every unit. With no wires I cant explain how great this is, standing or sitting and even with you hands it is great to operate.
