I have not finished installation of the bracket yet, but I believe this will be a good product. If you are thinking about installing a trolling motor you better have one of these before you start. I am putting the bracket on after the fact and will have to redrill several of the holes to make things line up. One drawback that I see is it only has one thumb screw to lock the plates together. I am worried about rattling and vibration.

The troll motor slides into place or off in a couple seconds. Great to be able to remove the electric motor for storage, lock up or service. This is made of extruded aluminum, and has six bolt holes pre drilled that match your model troll motor. Took 5 minutes to install as the pre-drilled holes perfectly allign with holes in trolling motor. Bolts are included. Excellent product.

The product is easy to install and is very solid. A real quality product. Make sure you have plenty of clearance when putting on and taking off the trolling motor and the area is very level otherwise it will bind. Not the best bracket if you take it on and off after each trip. Two people are required for an easy operation.

This is the cats meow!!!!! Easy installation, it does add 11-13 pounds to your boat but if you like taking you trolling motor off for storage or safety you "must" have this. Worth the money?? YES!!!!! Oh yes it does have a hole for a lock.
