HelmsMate™ Tiller Motor Extension Handles

Maintain precision steering and throttle control with these simple to install tiller extension handles. They fit all common gas and electric motors with three models to fit every application.
Available:
  • The Straight Handle Model gives you a true, direct-steer feel. Expandable from 36" to 50" to let you customize its length. Perfect as an outboard tiller extension handle and an electric-trolling-motor extension. A 18"-24" model is also available.
  • The fixed-length Basic Model is 30" and perfectly sized to give you extra reach with your trolling motor.
  • The premium Jointed Model is adjustable from 36" to 53" with a jointed extension handle and an all-metal joint. Push and pull steering and easy-twist throttle control. Lockout sleeves included for converting to a straight handle. Best used as an outboard extension handle.

    We attached this to our 13' Boston Whaler to help steer the 25hp motor. What a difference! The boat rides great now.
    The handle is a bit wobbly, but nothing we won't get used to. Excellent purchase from beginning to end.

    I've been using the 18" fixed handle on my 4 hp Mercury. No problems, fits fine, good control of both steering & throttle. It seems to be a very good product at a reasonable price.
