Higdon Swimmer
Date:
I've used the Higdon Pulsator for two seasons now and really like it, so I purchased the Swimmer earlier this season. Build quality is very good. As mentioned, it has to have the cable adjusted properly to work and then when it does, the decoy only swims in about a three foot circle. Looks like a dabbling duck, but not really a swimmer that is moving very far for any length of time. Don't dislike it, but don't find it to be a good value in terms of motion.

works great but needs improvement
Date:
decoy is awesome.....propulsion system works great....battery box and timer work good.....only problem is the cord.....
cord has a float that needs to be adjusted everytime you use it. ive found that it works best in deeper water, bad in shallow water. motor is so strong that it tilts and moves battery box under water thus changing how the float and cord work. ive added weight to my battery box and manipulated the cord/float to work correctly but no matter what you do the cord still gets caught on itself(tangled). the decoy makes lots of motion but half the time moves backwards because of tangled cord or doesnt move at all.
works best in water over 36inches........

Not Worth The Money
Date:
Bought one and the timer burned up on me at 2:30 in the morning. Traded it in and got another one everything worked but the cord from the duck to the box tangles up on its self within 2 cycles.
