Dave Jackson, co-owner and master call maker of DJ Illinois River Valley Calls, Inc., has been an avid duck, goose and deer hunter for more than 36 years and knows how a quality call should sound. Developed in 1960 by master call maker Al Sonderman, this single reed-duck call is one of the most remembered and successful duck calls ever made. Easy to operate, this call is built completely of walnut.

Broke my old olt 66

I stepped on my OLT 66 and my friend just so happened to have a saunderman 66 on hand. The barrel fit my OLT 66 reed head perfectly!

A Very poor duck call

I bought this call and found it could not possibly ever call a duck! I do know how to blow a duck call. This call is junk! Cannot tune it either. I sent an email to the company who promptly blew me off. I do not know how anyone could rate this call above poor. This company used to be PS Olt. They are no longer in business either.
Do not waste your money please!

This call sounds great.It stands out from others with a good raspy sound. Be CAREFUL TO PUT A LANYARD LOOP ON BOTH THE BARREL AND INSERT.iF YOU DON'T,YOU'LL FIND YOU ONLY HAVE THE BARREL BECAUSE THE INSERT WILL COME OUT FREQUENTLY.THIS IS COMMON ON WOODEN CALLS.

#66 DUCK CALL

After buying the DJ Illinois River Valley GOOSE call I was so impressed that I thought I would try one of their duck calls. This is currently my go to call...it has a better sound then pretty much all of my other calls...including some that are much more expensive. My hunting buddy was impressed with it as well.
