Well made cover

This is a well-made cover, but I couldn't quite make it fit in my application, which is a 12-foot Livingston with swivel seats and a 15 HP 2-stroke outboard. The 12 foot cover is too small (max beam 56", but my beam is 63"), and the 14-foot was just too long. Even with putting it over the swivel seats, there was just far too much material at the back and I couldn't tighten it up enough to make it trailerable. It would have flapped all over the place if I'd tried it.

I'd say it fit well enough that if I wanted to use it for an outdoor storage cover it would have been maybe good enough, but my boat is stored in the garage and I wanted a cover I could trailer it with.

If I had a Jon boat, I'm sure this cover would be just the thing.

Good cover

First time out trailered for 6 hours to fishing spot.Cover worked great.Lots of straps to hold cover in place.I would recommend using nylon rope in the hem instead of stretch cord.Stretch cord too small and stretches too much.Trailered home 6 hours,no problems.

great cover

I got this for my 14' jon boat. The fit is great with two pedestal seats , bow mount motor, and transom mount motor.Just have to see how durable it will be, but pretty sure it will do fine!

Respectable Cabelas Product

Bought this cover last spring and did a fabulous job keeping the rain out of the boat and protection against the weather. Very well made tarp. However I did try to use it as a towable cover with my decoys and a slight hole became a complete tear in a few seconds. I do recommend this cover because Cabelas stood behind the warranty with no problems, but I don't recommend it as a towable cover if you intend to use it for that purpose. My next one will be completly a rain cover. If It held up better during towing I would have given it a 5 or use it only for storage I would definatly give it a 5
