This dubbing is a blended fur with the right
amount of guard hairs mixed in to create buggy-looking nymphs.

I use Hairline hair's ear, dark hare's ear, olive hare's ear and olive dubbing with regular success when fishing nyphs in high moutain lakes.
Flies like Richards' Tan Callibaetis and Stillwater nymphs are particularly effective in Size 14 using an intermediate line. A slow retrieve works best.
I seem to catch more fish on messy looking nymphs than perfect ones. A beadhead nymph tied with this dubbing and a wrap of partridge hackle is a killer on southeastern trout.
