A time-proven color combination tied in a modern design. Rubber legs and white parachute post make this pattern easy to see as well as giving it a lifelike appearance. Peacock herl and red floss are proven attractor colors. This fly will work well as a general attractor pattern or to match a stonefly or caddis hatch.
Per 3. Sizes: 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16.
I have used the Swisher PMX to catch trout, smallies, bluegills and rock bass, among others. The bushy body and rubber legs are too much for these fish to resist. Sometimes I fish it alone as an attractor or hopper imitation. Other times I use it as an indicator to suspend weighted nymphs. The large, white synthetic yarn post floats high and is visible at long distances, even in low light. I wouldn't go fishing without several of these flies, in different sizes, in my box.
