SMALLIE CANDY
Date:
I USED THESE BABIES ON THE MONOCACY RIVER IN FREDERICK MD. LAST SEASON FISHED CLOSED TO THE BANKS. THE SMALLIES PUNISHED THESE FLIES. THE BLUE GILLS COULDN'T GET ENOUGH OF THIS PATTERN EITHER.

BEST HOPPER I EVER FISHED
Date:
EXCEEDINGLY LIFE-LIKE, WHEN FISHED ON STILL WATER, A SIMPLE TWITCH OF THE FLY WOULD TRIGGER A STRIKE. THE ONLY PROBLEM, AND ITS NOT ALTOGETHER AN UNPLEASANT ONE, IS THAT THEY GET CHEWED UP.

good...
Date:
worked great as an indicator for my copper john dropper. I didn't get many bows to rise to it, but I think under the right conditions it's a good fly.
