rusted hooks

I buy many fly fishing items from Cabelas and am a big fan. However, after I ordered 12 of these flies (6 in size 18 and 6 in size 20) and stored them in my fly box for about 2 months, I went to tie one on for a BWO hatch at a favorite stream yesterday - they were all rusted! The other Cabelas flies on either side of them were fine and no other flies in the box were affected. The box had not been in the water nor were wet flies reutrned to the box. My suspicion is that the hooks are faulty or something in the tying materials (thread or dubbing materials) corroded the hook. Cabelas immediately refunded my money upon my filing a complaint (typical outstanding Cabelas service). I would warn others away from this product.
